In India, 130 aborted foetuses were discovered dumped recently in the eastern state of Orissa. While abortion is legal in the country upto 20 weeks of pregnancy, gender-based abortion is illegal. It's now clear that this practice is far from abolished, in fact it's flourishing in this fast developing economy.
